Those We Remember

Lyn Mounteney

1955–2011

Sarah’s much-loved mum, and a devoted wife and nan. A wonderfully fun-loving lady, dearly missed and forever remembered. Our family’s journey with Huntington’s disease began with Lyn, and it is through her and Sarah that we have gained nearly 30 years of lived experience. Their journey is the inspiration behind this website.

She lived a life with HD,

But was not defined by it.

Always loved and

forever remembered.

Our Precious Queen

Who we sadly lost on 30/03/2026
She is so missed, we will forever love and miss her, life is so empty without our beautiful queen. We will forever treasure the memories with you, fly high my beautiful Nana 💖

Caroline Ferguson

1973 - 2026

My wife Caroline, who died in June aged 52. She bore her illness with great courage, she was braver than I could ever hope to be, and was always happy and full of laughter. Not a day goes by why I don't cry and I miss her terribly. I take some comfort that she is now with her dad and sister, who also were taken by HD. My only wish now is to be with her when my time comes.
