Douglas Ferguson (Husband)

A small story I wish to share, my wife died due to HD in June, and a few months before that, she was lying on the couch while I was doing some household task, when she shouted for me. I ran to her, thinking something was wrong, asking if she was OK. Due to HD, her speaking was slurred but she then said, so clearly, 'Douglas, you know I love you, don't you?' At that time, my heart was breaking, but it showed even in the worst times, the HD can't take the person fully. I treasure that moment.
